Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Executive to support our real‐estate operations. The individual will be responsible for managing, consolidating and analysing data from across sales, marketing, finance, operations and projects; generating accurate and timely reports and dashboards; and ensuring data integrity to support strategic decision-making for our real-estate business.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, compile and consolidate data from multiple sources (sales leads, bookings, payments, construction progress, vendor invoices, etc.) specific to real-estate projects.
- Develop, maintain and automate MIS reports, dashboards and trackers (daily, weekly, monthly) to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales bookings, collections, outstanding receivables, project progress, vendor billing, cost variances.
- Analyse trends, identify bottlenecks or deviations, and highlight insights to management with actionable recommendations.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across all reports and databases; conduct regular audits of data sources and reporting hygiene.
- Collaborate closely with teams such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, Project/Construction, Operations and Vendor Management to understand reporting requirements, resolve data-issues and streamline flows.
- Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests and support special projects for management (for example, scenario analysis, what-if models, budgeting/forecasting support).
- Prepare presentations / summaries for management review meetings, including visualization of data in a simple and actionable format.
- Support documentation of MIS processes, user-guides, system flows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data/reporting functions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in MIS / Data Analysis / Reporting role; preferably in the real estate sector or in a related domain (property management, construction, facility management) where reporting on projects/sales/collections is involved.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel: PivotTables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, advanced formulas, charts, dashboards; knowledge of macros is an advantage.
- Familiarity with MIS/Reporting systems (MS Access, ERP/CRM tools, Google Sheets) and preferably with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) or database querying (SQL).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills – ability to present data/insights to management and coordinate with multiple teams.
- Ability to work under deadlines, manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced real estate environment.
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve MIS processes.
Desired / Added Advantage
- Experience in the real-estate industry, especially tracking project progress, collections, sales funnel, vendor billing.
- Exposure to real-estate specific CRM/ERP or property management systems (e.g., Sales force, customized real-estate MIS).
- Basic understanding of real-estate operations: sales, bookings, construction cost tracking, vendor management, billing/collections.
- Basic visualization skills (charts, dashboards) and ability to help management make data-driven decisions.
Key Metrics / Deliverables
- Daily / Weekly / Monthly MIS reports delivered on time with zero/low errors.
- Dashboards showing trends, variances, outstanding receivables, project progress.
- Data-integrity percentage (accuracy of data).
- Reduction in manual effort (via automation of reports).
- Number of ad-hoc requests delivered within SLA.
- Insights or recommendations leading to cost savings or process improvements.
Working Conditions
- Office-based in Hubli.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Moderate travel may be required site visits etc.
Tools: (Maintain and manage the MIS database / systems) – Excel/Access/ERP/CRM and make enhancements to reporting tools/processes (for example, Excel macros, dashboards, BI tools).
